Lightweight, yet powerful.
Extremely powerful, extremely versatile. And yet light and mobile. This is our John Smith 12 forging and forming machine.
A machine that can do hot and cold forming, forging, cutting, pressing or punching. Moreover, you can change forgings and other tools very quickly, within a single heating. And you can lock them in four positions.
The main advantages? Speed, power, stroke. The 220 V version has a piston speed of up to 17.6 mm/s while the 380 V version can reach a speed of up to 28.8 mm/s. Both machines can generate a force of 12 tonnes and a stroke of up to 150 mm.
Thanks to the locking castors, you can easily move the machine at any time. This makes it perfectly suited for businesses of all sizes. Even those that have to deal with a lack of space.

JS12-380
This machine stands out for its above-average performance and fast piston feed even when plugged into a standard 220 V socket. Therefore, you can use it practically anywhere.
Compared to the JS12-220, it delivers 60% faster piston feed. So it can get more work done in less time. However, it requires a stable three-phase voltage source with a high-performance and stable circuit breaker.

Free hand forging
and forming
All our Basic and Combi forgings can be used for free hand forging and hot forming of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
One-sided double-sided fitting
One-sided mounting is achieved thanks to the ability to lock the forgings in four positions. Just rotate one forging from the Basic or Combi series by 90 degrees.
Pulling
Pulling can be achieved by combining forgings from the Basic and Combi series.
Splitting
Under the press, the material can be hot cut using a combination of a forging from the Basic series and a Multi tool forging with a cutting tool.
Perforating and punching
It is possible to punch a maximum thickness of 40 mm under the press using our punches compatible with the Multi tool hot forge.
Forging into dies
Under the press, it is possible to forge into any die that is compatible with the Multi tool forgings. You can choose one of our dies or we can custom make a die to suit your needs.
Coin minting
The machine can easily mint coins into the die using custom-made dies.
Sheet metal bending
Our machine can cold bend a 2 mm thick sheet on a suitable die. For bending at an angle, prismatic fixtures can be purchased for our Multi tool forgings.
Bending of solid profiles
For bending full profiles, you can use the appropriate Multi tool forgings.
Bending of L and T profiles
For smooth bending and bending of L and T profiles, you can use our adjustable fixture compatible with Multi tool forgings.
Joining materials
For riveted joints, it is possible to purchase precision headers for Multi tool forgings. Cold riveting is possible up to a diameter of (XX) mm.

Metal fabrication, free hand forging, pulling, fitting, ... Here you will find forgings for everything. Choose from three wide ranges of forgings of the highest quality guaranteed by our unique workmanship. And if you can't find the one you need, we'll make a tool tailored to your specific needs.
Basic line
Flat
is a clean flat surface with dimensions 150 x 170 mm. This forge is suitable for free hand forging, fitting and for the use of hand tools designed for use under the press and dies held in the hand.
Round 1
This 30 mm diameter, 15 mm deep forging is used for pulling and fitting, or for free hand fitting.
Round 2
This is an alternative to the Round 1 forging, but its back is narrower.
Combi line
Combi 1
This forging combines the flat surface and pull-out profile of the Round 1 forging. It is designed for pulling, fitting and free hand forging.
Combi 2
This forging combines the flat surface and pull-out profile of the Round 2 forging.
Combi 3
This forging combines a flat surface and an inclined surface for forging points and sharp fitting, suitable for blacksmiths for fitting pins or for knifemasters for fitting knife blades.
